Brady Bunch’ siblings reunite as HGTV renovates Studio City house for new show

Call it a very Brady reboot.

Six “Brady Bunch” actors recently reunited at the Studio City home that represented their house on the hit ’70s TV show.

The gathering came as HGTV, which bought the house in August 2018, gears up for a new series, “A Very Brady Renovation.” The show is set to air in September 2019.

“What’s so exciting about this project is that we are creating one of the most iconic homes from many of our viewers’ childhoods,” said Loren Ruch, senior vice president, HGTV programming and partnerships. “It will be the first time in history that the house from all of our memories will be created in a real brick and mortar location.”

HGTV announced the project on social media on Thursday.

HGTV closed sale on the house on August 10 for $3.5 million – almost twice the asking price of $1.885 million.

The network won the home over more than a handful of other bidders, including former *NSYNC singer Lance Bass, who had offered just under $3 million.

The 2,477-square-foot house that represented the Brady family’s home on the popular TV sitcom sits on almost a third of an acre. It has three bedrooms and three bathrooms.

It went on the market on July 18, 2018 for the first time in 45 years.

Only the home’s exterior appeared on the show. The indoor scenes were shot in a studio.

But the house has long been an attraction. The listing calls it “reportedly the 2nd most photographed home in the United States after the White House.”
